The Challenge
HardingRedmans is a firm of accountants in Swanage, Dorset, offering accounts, bookkeeping, tax, VAT, payroll and company formation to individuals and businesses. In 2025 the firm asked us to redesign its website, which was an old static site that the team could not update.
An accountancy firm sells trust, and its website is often the first place a prospective client looks. It needed to look professional on every device, set out a broad range of services clearly, and show each type of client that the firm could help them.
Our Approach
We replaced the old site with a complete redesign built on Atlas Lite CMS, so that the team can edit pages, news and service details without a developer. The structure follows the way clients think about their needs:
- Our services: separate pages for accounts, bookkeeping, company formations, payroll, self assessment, VAT and tax, with the firm’s terms of business
- Who can we help: pages for sole traders, freelancers, limited companies, partnerships, landlords, start-ups, charities, trustees and private tax clients
- A tax calendar and a page of useful links
- Clear contact details with the phone number easy to find, plus privacy and cookie notices
The design is clean and responsive, with clear navigation that takes a visitor from the home page to the right service.
The Results
HardingRedmans now has a website that presents the firm as the modern, professional practice it is, and explains its services to each kind of client. The team can keep the tax calendar, news and service information up to date themselves, so the site stays accurate between redesigns.
Long-Term Impact
The site is a good example of how a professional services firm can move from a static brochure page to a website it controls. Launched in 2025, it is built to be maintained in-house for years.
